Set of 3 commemorative coins issued by the US Mint to commemorate the 1984 Olympics. Housed in a wooden display case and then boxed inside an official US Mint black box. These are the first Olympic commemorative coins ever issued by the United States Mint. It is also the first time since 1933 that the United States has issued a gold coin. 

Coins in this set include:
1984-W US Gold $10 Olympic Proof  (16.71 grams of .900 fine gold)
Obverse: Man and woman running toward the right, together bearing the Olympic torch
Reverse: Heraldic eagle

1983-S US Olympic Silver Dollar Proof  (26.73 grams of 90% silver)
Obverse: Figure of discus thrower
Reverse: Bust of American eagle

1984-S US Olympic Silver Dollar Proof  (26.73 grams of 90% silver)
Obverse: Gateway to the Olympic Coliseum, Los Angeles, California
